Product details
definition

The national standard GB14554-93 defines odor as:

All gas substances that stimulate the olfactory organs and cause discomfort and damage to people's living environment.

Purpose&Significance

Odor pollution is one of the seven major environmental hazards in the world, causing an increasing number of disputes and petitions, ranking second in environmental complaints, resulting in significant economic losses and negative social impacts.

The Outline of the 14th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development in China clearly proposes to "strengthen the treatment of odorous pollutants".

Main sources

Pollution sources in agriculture, animal husbandry, and animal husbandry: including livestock and poultry farms, slaughterhouses, agricultural product processing plants, etc;

Industrial pollution sources: including petrochemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, coating plants, and other factories;

Pollution sources of urban public facilities: including household waste treatment facilities, sewage treatment plants, etc.

Main hazards

Currently, it is known that over 4000 types of odorous substances can be detected solely by human smell. Among them, odorous pollutants such as hydrogen sulfide, formaldehyde, acrolein, and styrene have been proven to cause harm to the human respiratory and nervous systems.

Typical spectrogram

2pPb (calculated as dimethyl disulfide) sulfide standard spectrum 2pPb (calculated as n-pentanal) odorous pollutant standard spectrum

System Characteristics

-Inert the entire process of the system pipeline;

-The sampling section includes a maintenance free diaphragm sampling pump and a mass flow controller;

-Configure semiconductor low-temperature cold trap to enrich sulfides, with adjustable enrichment temperature, and the cold trap can be as low as -40 ℃;

-The analysis conditions can be freely set, with a maximum analysis temperature of 350 ° C and a maximum heating rate of 40 ° C/s;

-Standard configuration includes hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID) and flame photometric detector (FPD);

-Carrier gas nitrogen, electronic flow control;

-Programmable temperature rise capillary column box, temperature control range 40-300 ° C, temperature control accuracy ± 1 ° C, maximum support for five order programmed temperature rise, temperature rise rate range 1-30 ° C/min;

-Thermostatic valve box, capable of accommodating two pneumatic ten way valves, with a constant temperature control range of 40-180 ° C;

Monitoring factors

Concentrated sulfide gas chromatograph:

Carbon disulfide, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, dimethyl disulfide (expandable to other sulfides)
